Lobster roll!

And when it’s combined with tasty mayo and served on a hot dog bun, then it’s pretty much heaven-on-earth. I was fortunate enough to be able to consume five lobster rolls while on vacation earlier this month! That’s what I call a good vacation. Pictured above is one that I ate at Halls Harbour Lobster Pound in Nova Scotia (a place that we checked out on the recommendation of Taylor’s boss). It was definitely tasty and the cole slaw came served in a scallop shell!
But the very best lobster roll of this trip (and possibly ever?) came from The Dolphin Marina and Restaurant in South Harpswell. The lobster was incredibly fresh, cooked perfectly (and possibly explicitly for my sandwich) and it was totally dee-lishis. Although I didn’t indulge in it myself, the fish chowder is served with a freshly baked and still warm blueberry muffin. In short: the Dolphin quickly sky-rocketed as a big winner in my book.
