Beer with beet juice color!

We picked up Magic Hat’s new Wacko Summer Seasonal beer to enjoy on a Saturday night in tonight. It’s hard to tell from this picture, but it is the prettiest purple color. And it’s pretty tasty too!

I was not a fan of Wacko, but I am glad you liked it. My notes on the beer: Aroma of beets, herbs, vegetables, skunk, dirt. Poured pink/amber/orange/ruby in color with a medium-sized, dense, slightly pink head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is lightly bitter. Tastes of vegetables, light grains, light malts, and herbs.
Light to medium body. Tingly, dry texture. Average carbonation. Herbal, vegetal finish. Not very good.
