I was so excited this morning when I jumped onto the Rickshaw Dumpling Truck’s Twitter feed to discover that not only is the truck right around the corner from me – but also, that it’s parked with the Treats Truck!
I have been stalking the Rickshaw Truck for a long time but it seems like every time I try to get it for lunch, it’s down in the Financial District. But today, the stars aligned…I needed to buy lunch, I had a dumpling craving, the Truck is in midtown – AND the Dessert Truck (filled with Halloween treats) was parked right next store. The seriously great news is that this magical combination will be together EVERY Friday from now on. Yipee!
I got some fantastic pork and chive dumplings, a cold sesame noodle salad, and a cookie sandwich for dessert. I am a happy girl.
(not the best picture, but sadly, this sandwich is just a memory and I can’t retake it)
PS: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! We are going on the Literary Pub Crawl tomorrow…hopefully we won’t end up like pumpkin number 3.
