Here’s a brief introduction to the amazing people who will be standing next to us as we take our wedding vows!
Bridal Party

Whitney Gallagher, Matron of Honor: Whitney is Taylor’s sister, and over the course of many vacations, living as neighbors for four years in New York, and too many pints to count, she has become one of Dana’s closest friends.

Abigail Chapin and Lily Chapin, Maids of Honor: Dana met Abigail and Lily on a fateful day in 1985 when (driven from her home because her mother was on a cleaning rampage) Dana walked across the street in Piermont NY, shyly knocked on Abigail and Lily’s front door, and declared that she had “come to make friends.” Although they now live in LA, Abigail and Lily remain Dana’s oldest, best friends.

Ellie Beck, Bridesmaid: Dana met Ellie freshman year at Trinity College, although they really became great friends in their sophomore year when they became roommates. Their friendship was forged over the course of late night Cadbury Cream Egg runs, amenity-lacking alternative spring breaks, and innumerable a cappella concerts. Although technically Ellie now lives in Boston, Dana will always consider her to be her “roomie.”

Kristin Greene, Bridesmaid: Dana met Kristin (aka, Special K) on a pub crawl in 2003. As it turns out, it was kind of a big night for Kristin, because she not only met Dana that night, but she also met Steve, who four years later would become her husband. (Kristin is holding off judgement on which event was more personally significant for her.) Kristin has become such an integral part of the Trinity crew that it’s easy to forget that she didn’t actually go to Trinity (hey, nobody’s perfect).

Emily Raderman, Bridesmaid: Dana met Emily in 1995, when Emily started attending the Rockland Country Day School. Emily showed Dana the light of non-tapered jeans and a flowered-vest-free-world, two things for which Dana is eternally grateful. Emily also had the great privilege of chaperoning Dana and Taylor’s first date (to Friendly’s) and holds the honor of travelling the furthest to be with us on our big day.
Groomsmen

Martin Kurzweil, Best Man: Taylor met Martin in his freshman year at Montclair High School, and they have been best friends ever since. While disco fries and golf brought them together, a mutual love of eating adventures, Jersey City, and irreverant television have kept them close in recent years.

Davis Albohm, Groomsman: Taylor and Davis met in their freshman year at Trinity College. Although the foundation of their friendship has been their mutual northern New Jersey roots, by their senior year of college, their mutual goal of surviving life with their other Vernon Place roommates bonded them further.

Michael Gallagher, Groomsman: Michael (aka, Mikey) is Taylor’s brother-in-law. However, Taylor’s love of Michael goes far beyond legal obligation. Michael is always up for an adventure — whether it’s trekking into the dodgy neighborhood of Paris for some good Vietnamese food, or hopping a flight to Buffalo for a football game. You should be forewarned that Michael is British, so if you find yourself having a hard time understanding him, it may not be (entirely) due to your inebriation level. If, however, you start understanding Michael, that is due entirely to your level of inebriation.

Steve Greene, Groomsman: Steve and Taylor met while on the crew team their freshman year at Trinity. Steve had the foresight to introduce Taylor to Dana that year, and 10 years later, that’s the reason that you all will be traveling to Hartford. Steve is a massive Boston sports fan, so please feel free to proclaim your love of the Yankees and / or Giants to him. Repeatedly.

Seth Tillman, Groomsman: Taylor and Seth met in their freshman year of college, but really became good friends after living together (along with Steve and Davis) in their senior year, and when they both moved to New York after graduation. Seth and Taylor are known to break into a cappella harmony from time to time (see photo above). Please don’t put any money in their hat. This will only encourage them.

Reed Whitman, Groomsman: Reed and Taylor spent almost every moment of their freshman year of college together: rowing, pledging the same fraternity, and co-habitating as roommates. Surprisingly, they remain very close friends and have been known to cuddle up with a cigar from time to time.
